About Start-Ops Mexico
The people who file the paperwork, not just explain it.
Start-Ops Mexico helps foreign companies start and run operations in Mexico. We are based in Guadalajara, we work in one country only, and we handle the parts that go wrong when nobody local is watching — REPSE compliance, IMSS and INFONAVIT registration, SAT filings, CFDI payroll, and employment contracts written to survive Mexican Federal Labor Law.
We are a services firm, not a platform. You get named people who answer the phone, in your time zone, in English.
Roberto Cornejo Reindl
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Roberto has been helping foreign companies start operations in Mexico since 2018. He holds a bachelor’s degree in International Commerce from ITESO in Guadalajara, and currently serves as Gerente Especial — the appointed legal representative — for more than 10 companies.
That means the compliance calendar on this site is not research. It is the calendar he files against every month: IMSS and INFONAVIT contributions, provisional ISR and IVA returns, CFDI payroll receipts, aguinaldo in December, PTU in May. He writes about Mexican labour and tax obligations from the position of someone personally on the hook for them.
